Here are a few of our favorite monster-wielding shows you can catch on your http://www.direct.tv/direct-tv/Minnesota/ channels they give any game a run for its money.
The Walking Dead – Zombies are all the rage right now, let us tell you. This comic adaptation is really making waves in the industry because it’s the first treatment that doesn’t make a spectacle of the things. It’s got a heart.
Game of Thrones – Monsters galore! Between the dragons and the dreaded White Walkers of the North, Game of Thrones has just enough sci-fi elements to keep us interested without being over the top. If you like this kind of stuff this show is for you.
MonsterQuest – It’s on the Discovery Channel so it’s not going to scare you to death but these guys are SERIOUS about modern day monsters. They’re on the prowl for anything out of the ordinary in lakes, rivers and woods all over the world – it’s a fascinating watch.

Video games have become a staple of entertainment. Throughout all the genres that we enjoy to play, one of the most exciting is the horror games. Among the lot of horror games available, few are a must own.

One of the must own horror games, complete with all the blood and gore that you can stand is Phantasmagoria. It may provide all the killing you can stand but the most exciting part is that it is more like an interactive movie than your standard game.

If you are really looking for a game that will give you nightmares then just play Silent Hill. This game will leave your palms and controller drenched with sweat. It employs many surprises, lots of action, and many creatures that will leave you wide awake at night.

When you are talking about must own horror games, then the classic game Splatterhouse is near the top. One of the first horror movie games makes it a pioneer for all the latest technologically advanced games we enjoy today.

One last game recommendation will be one that many people have played and for that reason and more is a must own. I mean a horror movie list wouldn-t be complete without a zombie game and Resident Evil gives you just that.

Most children today will grow up playing video games and there usually is not a problem with that. However, video games have become increasingly more violent in recent years and many parents are wondering whether they should let their child play horror video games. Researchers have found that playing horror video games not necessarily increase violence in children, but these games can increase the incidence of bullying. For that reason, parents should exercise discretion when allowing their children to play horror video games.

Children who are under the age of 12 should not play violent video games. Young children’s brains are still developing at it is harder for them to discern right from wrong. Parents should also take the time out to explain to their children that many of the things that happen in video games should not happen in real life. Parents should also consider playing video games with their children so that they can know exactly how graphic the games are.

Many people are concerned about the violence that is in videogames today. Fortunately, parents can educate their children by taking the time out to explain right for wrong. They can also help educate their children by playing the games with them.

Many kids love scary stories and games. Depending on a child’s age level and the type of game he or she is playing, it is perfectly OK for them to play video games that feature monsters. In fact, many children have a love or fascination with monsters and seeing them on the screen is thrilling.

For younger children, monsters are very real. Monsters appropriate for children of this age are colorful, furry or non-threatening. Think of movies and television shows that feature friendly monsters. If children are learning to play computer or video games, they will often love games that feature monsters that are helpful or non-threatening.

Older children begin to understand the difference between what is real and what is imaginary and can often handle video games that have a darker theme. Monster games for older kids can be scary or threatening, but probably shouldn’t be gory. Older children often delight in trying to outwit or outsmart the bad guy, and monster games will give them the chance to do this.

Monster video games can be fun for children to play as long as you keep in mind the child’s age level and his or her particular fears. Often children who love playing games will love playing video games featuring monsters.
